Unveiling Marker Honoring Whiteland Raceway

On Sunday, July 10, 3 p.m, at Whiteland Raceway (654 N. Front Street, Whiteland, IN 46184), a brief ceremony as Indiana Racing Memorial Association (IRMA) will unveil a historic marker sponsored by Indiana Automotive. Andy O’Gara, Sarah Fisher, and IRMA co-founder Mark Eutsler will offered remarks as part of the dedication, and State Representative, Michelle Davis. The Indiana Racing Memorial Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to recognize the historically significant individuals, events, businesses and race tracks that have made Indiana “The Racing Capital Of The World.”

We believe that our rich heritage in racing deserves greater awareness, engagement and recognition.To this end, we are proposing that racing-themed historical markers be developed, officially designated and erected by our organization at appropriate locations throughout the State.
