Bob Jenkins Marker Unveil

The great auto racing broadcaster, Bob Jenkins will be honored with the unveiling of an IRMA historic marker on June 8 at 2 PM The location will be in Bob’s hometown of Liberty, Indiana on the courthouse square. 26 West Union Street, Liberty Indiana, 47353
Besides several other spokesmen, the long-time "Voice of The 500," Paul Page will attend to share comments about his friend and colleague. Also, acclaimed ESPN auto racing broadcaster, Marty Reid, has agreed to share his memories of Bob and their work together.

Everyone is welcome. There will be a social with light refreshments following the ceremony.

To Celebrate Indiana’s Racing heritage

The Indiana Racing Memorial Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to recognize the historically significant individuals, events, businesses and race tracks that have made Indiana “The Racing Capital Of The World.”

We believe that our rich heritage in racing deserves greater awareness, engagement and recognition.To this end, we are proposing that racing-themed historical markers be developed, officially designated and erected by our organization at appropriate locations throughout the State.
